Review
A Boring album of soporific country rock designed to cash in on Parks equally boring T.V .show "Then Came Bronson." One extra star for consistency.
Vinyl History's vast repository of useless factoids
"Then Came Bronson" ran on NBC from Sept 1969-Sept 1970. Jim Bronson is the anti-hero trying to "find himself" after a good friend's suicide. He quits his job and drops out of society. Next, we see him riding a motorcycle across the west. He was once asked, where he was going, to which he replied, "wherever I wind up" [Now what is more existential than that?]. Parks under-acted and had an annoying habit of whispering or mumbling his lines. While he travels he constantly finds himself meddling in the lives of others and becomes a sort of traveling psychologist. All 26 episodes and the pilot have just been released on DVD.
Parks is still around and has released a new CD. We love pop culture!.
