This kind of thing is done all the time. January Tyme sounds a little like Janis Joplin
and you could toss a little Jefferson Airplane from their 1967-1971 outstanding run.
Here is where comparisons end. This project sinks under the weight of it's mediocre material.
It's not even good enough to be a tribute record.
One can get the whole story by looking at January Tyne on the back cover.
However tedious , this album is still available on a compact disc from Amazon.com.
It is a period piece but not recommended by VinylHistory com.
